Aerospace welding

The Aerospace ISO standard 24394:2008+A1 is used by those involved in aerospace welding applications. The standard is interlinked with other welding standards e.g. BS EN ISO 15614 series referencing the same standards for specific things for example the welding coordinator “shall have knowledge and experience relevant to the welding process” The defined experience is referencing EN ISO 14731. There are also a number of different welding positions for the welder, processes and materials that can be used but again, it is about selecting the correct one to get the best range for YOUR company.
